THE VERY BEST OF NEAL MCCOY is the most comprehensive anthology to date of the new traditionalist contemporary country star's career-spanning hits. It collects the best from the six albums McCoy recorded for Atlantic as well as from subsequent releases on Giant and 903. Rhino's definitive compilation also features the brand new, previously unreleased track “Rednecktified,” co-written by the Texas-born McCoy and producer Eric Silver. Highlights include the #1 Billboard country singles “No Doubt About It” and “Wink” - both of which also entered the Hot 100 pop chart - the Top 5 country hits “For A Change” and You Gotta Love That” and the 2005 Top 10 favorite “Billy's Got His Beer Goggles On.” Of distinctive Irish-Filipino descent, McCoy first got his start in the '80s with over a half decade of opening shows for country legend Charley Pride before launching his solo career. He scored a steady series of country hits throughout the '90s, and is renowned for his spirited live shows. |
